Timbrr is built and run by Jon and Jacob — Minneapolis and Chicago. Jon's been building websites for over ten years, a lot of it for businesses whose whole web budget was "whatever the nephew charges."
Local businesses deserve better than that — and better than a $40,000 agency retainer. Timbrr is the middle: real engineering, plain prices, and a site you actually own. We find value where others overlook it.

06 — FAQ
Fair questions.
Can I really edit it myself?
Yes. You get a simple editor — change your hours, swap photos, add a page — and your edit is live in about two minutes. We train you in 30 minutes and leave a one-page guide. If you'd rather never touch it, that's what support hours are for.
Who owns the website?
Your content, photos, theme, and domain — yours, with a full export any time. The platform and editor are ours: that's the tool we rent you, not something you buy. Either way, nobody's holding your website hostage.
I already have a website. Can you move it?
That's most of our work. We move your pages and photos over, set up redirects so your old links still work, and you review the new site side-by-side before anything switches.
How do support hours work?
Anything you send our way — edits, new photos, a seasonal banner — comes out of your plan's hours: one a month on Grove, ten on White Pine. Sapling has no included hours; we bill hourly for whatever you ask. And the editor's always free, so you can do it yourself.
What's a custom block?
Blocks are the sections a page is built from — heroes, galleries, accordions, forms. Every site gets the whole public library. A custom block is one we design and build just for your business — $500 for most, public by default, so the library grows for everyone. A big one (listings, scheduling, integrations) gets its own quote before we start.
Where is it hosted?
On fast CDN hosting with nightly offsite backups and monitoring that pages us — not you — when something's off. There's a public status page you can check any time.
What if Timbrr goes away?
Your site keeps running — it's built as plain, portable files. And your export (content, images, design, runbook) means any competent developer can pick it up. That continuity clause is in the agreement.
